For many years, any visit to Africa had seemed a far distant dream
Eventually, in 2012 & 2016, I joined birdwatching tours visiting Morocco which I thoroughly enjoyed.

But these trips weren’t to see the "Africa" that been filling my dreams for years.
The Maasai Mara, the Etosha National Park, the Okavango Delta, the Serengeti - evocative names that are bywords amongst the best wildlife locations in Africa, in fact in the world.

Then in 2017, I decided that I would treat myself for my forthcoming 60th birthday and so arranged a trip to Namibia. Since then, having been introduced to the wonders of Africa, I have found it necessary to return
